Vintage advertising light for Champale, Metropolis Brewery Co., Trenton N.J. The white plastic sign is 7” across the front and a little over 6” high. The embossed design on front has cheery, bright color accents. The light can stand on a counter or table top and can also hang on a wall. It has an original sticker on back from the manufacturer (Kirby-Cogeshall-Steinau Co., Milwaukee).
The light works. It takes a small bulb (about the size of a Christmas bulb). The one in t does work but is not guaranteed! The white plug on the wire is a replacement. The wire looks sturdy and clean but has a tiny surface nick and t and should be checked. The plastic front and sides are soiled and smudged and have an occasional little scrape. It could use a light cleaning. The colors are intact. The back portion of the light has several scuffs, little scrapes, some soiling, etc. The plastic is sturdy - no chips, flakes or cracks.
