Up for bid is this very rare old Burger Beer "Sparkle Brewed" lighted motion sign from the Sixties. Photos don't do this sign justice -- a rotating wheel inside with different colored panels shines colored light thru holes on sides of inner diamond structure & onto the highly reflective outer diamond -- Great effect! Word "Sparkle" and the stars in the center diamond also have a sparkling effect; center Burger logo lights, too. Lit by two 7 watt bulbs; motor works great and is very quiet. Only issue is the clearance for the rotating wheel inside the center diamond section is pretty tight, so it's easy to get out of proper alignment and have the wheel rubbing against interior (in worst case this may even cause rotation to stop) -- but I found that once set on the wall properly sign had no problems with the rotating motion. Overall condition is very good for age, with only slight wear/very minor scratches typical of a sign this old (none of which detract in the least); sign is very clean. Plastic sign measures 19" wide, 13" high, and max 3 1/2" deep. No tags or stickers present; electrical cord appears to be in great shape & has a rotary on/off switch. THANKS FOR LOOKING!
