Wonderful vintage French Limoges porcelain 8 ¼" plate in Cobalt Blue and Gold. Beautiful - cobalt blue and raised rich gold encircles each plate and a thick cobalt band! As elegant as can be! J Pouyat Limoges maker stamps. Underglaze white ware mark in green with " FRANCE " ca. 1890 - 1932. Overglaze decorating mark, green wreath with pink ribbon and name printed in green or gold, ca. 1906 - 1932. Free of chip, cracks. Slight wear to Gold medallion in center. I have 5 identical plates and would be happy to combine shipping. Please Note : Due to the dark blue coloring, it was difficult to capture it without glare marks showing, tfore, any spots you see are simply a result of the photography. T are no scuffing marks on the blue! I try to describe as faithfully as possible and am happy to answer your emails. I am not a dealer or expert. The majority of all items I sell are gently used or vintage, this means t is probably some age related wear. Manufacturing flaws (bubbles, shear marks) were also quite common in older glass.
