~*~This buy it now is for this amazingly beautiful hand woven Antique/Vintage hemp linen roll measuring (11.7 yards) 35 feet by 22 inches ( 10.7 meters by 56cm) ~*~

This is a wonderful roll of antique/vintage European hand-woven hemp linen~this roll is so very very beautiful! This is an AMAZING roll of hand woven hemp. What a beauty! The weave is a lovley medium open weave and the tone is STUNNING. The tone is a flaxy grey tone!!! The stripes are a lovely deep indigo blue. This is one of the most beautiful rolls~ rare and wonderful. ~*~ Attached you will see some wonderful ideas ( bedcover, upholstery) that my designers have created. The stripes are so beautiful to create this stunning French country look~ ( furniture not included in this buy it now :)

This roll is in wonderful wonderful condition. . T are a few dirt marks just in the first few yards, otherwise wonderful!!! These marks should wash beautifully, although one might leave a very faint mark, easy to hide~ ! ~*~

For large projects like the sofa, plain linen can be used on the sides and backs!! I can usually match most rolls~ please email should you wish to discuss~*~

~*~The woman weavers of yesterday would spend their evenings weaving these amazing rolls of linen. It took the average woman 1 night to weave 60 centimeters ( 24 inches) of linen

~*~ These rolls are 100% machine washable, on 40 or 60 celcius..if t is visible dirt, just add a bit of Oxywash! They are so easy to wash, simply spin dry then remove when wet. Roll the linen tightly and let sit overnight. In the morning unroll and allow to dry naturally~ this presses the linen and t is usually no need to iron ( unless you prefer it perfect). Pure linen or hemp rolls tend to have no shrinkage, the rolls with cotton tend to have some shrinkage. These rolls are tough and sturdy, built to last.....and last and last!! New Hemp can be soaked in water for 3 days and then washed on regular cycle to soften or one can use liquid fabric softener if desired. Most of my rolls don't tend to need any additional help with softening as they have a lovely texture as is~ ~*~ Hemp is built to last for many many generations making it a lovely textile for creating family heirlooms~*~

All of my linen rolls are produced using natural fibers. Natural fibers have the irregularities and subtleties that are innt ...adding to their rustic charm~*~
