Up for auction is a Vintage Lionel 2344C New York Central B Unit With Box And Wire Mesh Roof Vents. This unit is in good to very good condition and is grey with white lettering. This B unit’s finish is in good to very good condition with a slight mottling of the paint on the roof. It can be seen under certain angles of lighting. Otherwise, the finish on both sides and ends is in very good condition. The unit has a very good stripe and lettering and has all four portholes and all four stairs. From what I’ve read the New York Central units are a little harder to find due to the smaller amount of them purchased when they were first produced. The box is in fair condition with missing flaps on both ends and normal storage wear on the rest of the box. What a great addition this would make to your favorite Model train enthusiast’s Collection. All of my items are as is, as seen by the pictures I supply.
