* LIONEL * TRESTLE BRIDGE No. 317 Postwar, c 1950s. Original box is not included. * * * * * PLEASE MAKE A SPECIAL NOTE that this auction item is part of a train set collection acquired from the original owner recently. I was told that the owner and his brother ran the train and it's various mechanical accessories during the 1950s. It came to me wrapped in newspaper dated 1962. Through my research, I've learned that the collection was most likely manufactured in the late 1940s. I have only sorted and cleaned the various pieces. I cannot assure a buyer of the completeness or working condition of any item. So, this auction must be a "buy it as is" situation. I will say, however, that my assessment is that the train set was not abused during use. The condition appears to be normal wear and tear. One must keep in mind that each piece is probably at least 60 years old. You can find the entire Lionel train set collection listed in auction this week under Bluegrass.Best. It is my intention to pass everything along to collectors, hobbyists and enthusiasts of the Lionel brand. I will continue to relist until all of it is gone. Please check all of the auctions. I will gladly combine auction items for a reduced rate in shipping. Depending on weight and size, I may choose to ship with FED-EX. Rates are much cheaper in some cases. This
