I have decided to auction off my childhood Lionel “O” gauge train set from the 1950s and early 1960s. All pieces were new when received as Christmas presents. The complete set was last used in 1964 and has been in dry storage since then. I have opened all the packaging to confirm that numbers match and to do light cleaning. I have not confirmed that the individual pieces are operational as-is but I believe they were in operating condition when stored in 1964. I will be auctioning off the complete set in separate lots over the next couple of weeks so stay tuned if you are interested in original equipment, most in their original boxes complete with operating instructions. This auction is for my Lionel GP-7 locomotive complete with original box and instruction sheet. Locomotive is complete and in very good or better condition. I have confirmed that the locomotive operates in both directions. Battery compartment is clean with no evidence of corrosion. Original box is complete and in very good condition. Original instruction sheet is in very good condition other than it shows some yellowing from age. Shipping to only USA lower 48 states.
