A 25 piece collection of assorted signs and poles (plus footbridge and crossing gate) from Lionel and Plasticville, all from the late 40’s and early 50’s. Several of the power poles have missing cross arms (realistic!) and one sign needs re-gluing, otherwise they’re in good shape.I have many Lionel parts for sale (engines, transformers, rolling stock, track, accessories, manuals, catalogs, instruction sheets, etc.) and will be adding more so please see my other listings. Most of my Lionel inventory dates from the late 30’s to the mid 50’s with one owner. I have used the TrainCollector’s Association Grading Standards as best I can and have noted any condition issues. I have attempted to test any operating or illuminated parts, noted the result, or noted if it was not tested. I have not cleaned most of the parts since cleaning is a delicate operation and there are several preferred methods. Personally I prefer leaving cars as is since it gives a vintage, realistic look to the layout. In any case, I leave that to the buyer. I want you to be happy with your purchase so please look at the photos carefully, review the description, and ask any questions you may have. Since most cars and parts are 45 to 60 years old, please take that into consideration and I do recommend that operating parts be serviced before regular use and wiring checked. If you are looking for a specific item, let me know. I will be happy to combine shipping for multiple purchases. Thanks.
