Lot of 5 Vintage Lionel SANTA FE Train Cars & EXTRAS - Part of a Train Set Santa Fe Engine #218~ Santa Fe #2412 Illuninated Vista Dome Car ~ Santa Fe #2416 Observation Car ~ #3428 United States Mail Railway Car ~ Diesel Switcher Engine without Cover ~ Remote Control Track Section ~ Plastic Platform with 9 Hard Plastic People A good friend of mine is re-tiring to Florida and has asked me to sell his old toys, and other collectibles (NASCAR, Coin Collections, Rare LP Albums that are still sealed, etc) and I thought I would start with his old Lionel Train. Since these are from the 50's, and played with, he does not have the boxes, and I am going by info collected from him and E-bay. PLEASE ask any and all questions!! I am not an expert on trains (I am a girl with no brothers!) so selling trains is new to me. I will describe them as best I can, but please ask any questions!! This auction is for 5 Lionel Santa Fe Train Set Pieces +++ Extras ~~~ The Lionel Santa Fe #218 Engine is in poor condition, as the front hood part is cracked and looked like the headlight is missing. Other then that, normal wear and tear, and not too bad. Wasn't going to include it in this condition, but just couldn't throw it away! The Santa Fe #2412 Illuminated Vista Dome Car (used to be illuminated 20+ years ago) is in fair condition with NONE of the top windows broken, but has some kind of paper residue on the sides, and minor scratches from being played with, but no big dings. The Sante Fe #2616 Observation Car is in fair condition with minor scratchesand no big dings. The top light is still in-tact, but scratched, and the 2 red lights are still t, but 1 looks like it is pushed in. The #3428 Operating United States Mail Railway Car is the most fun to me! It has the mail guy on the inside and moves when the door opens. The side he comes out is good, but the backside door is missing a itty bitty screw for the door. The car itself is in good condition, just some minor scratches. and no dings. The last piece, the Diesel Switcher is missing the top of it, wasn't going to include it, but couldn't throw it away. Maybe use for parts? Three is also a remote control track section (I believe went with this set) and 9 Hard Plastic People that went with the US Post Office Car, I think. 7 of them are in great shape, 1 has part of an arm broken (so little hard to tell) and the 9th piece is a different color and a little bigger, but I am including it, too, as not sure what else to do with it :-) All Sold As Is. Hope it finds a great home. I have more Lionel & other trains, as well as track for this train, and transformers that all "hum" that I will be listing, so please check back. I would be more than happy to combine shipping, if I can and still package and send safely. These pieces weigh almost 8 pounds before the box and packaging.
