One of my customers has consigned to me a very nice Lipton Tea advertising teapot, probably ca. 1960s. This is a large teapot with a spigot, and was used to dispense Lipton iced tea in a Rexall Drug store in the Orlando, Florida area. This teapot consists of three pieces: the pot itself, the base, and the lid. The teapot is made of porcelain with a black glazed finish. The pot says "Lipton tea" in large white letters, which are fired into the glaze and not painted on. The overall height of the teapot on its base is17-1/2." The base itself measures 6-1/2"H x 10-1/2" diameter. The pot without the base measures 11"H x 10-1/2" diameter, and 16" wide at the handle and spout. I am not sure of its capacity in gallons, however I would guess it holds approximately two gallons, or eight litres. This teapot is in excellent condition overall, with no cracks or chips in the porcelain. It is ready to dispense iced tea in your kitchen, though it should be cleaned with soap and water first. Important note: Because this is a consignment piece, I have relied on the seller to provide accurate information about it. It is being sold as is, with no warranty expressed or implied. This teapot is large and heavy, so shipping within the continental USA via UPS Ground will cost $35.00. If you like to drink iced tea on a hot summer day, then you will certainly read more
