Vintage Little Old Lady, Little Old Woman or Grandma's Cookie Jar

This item would be perfect for a Grandma or someone who collects the "Little Old Woman Who Lived in a Shoe" items

I found this little gem at an Estate Sale. Her rosey cheeks and expression and her detailed gray hair in a bun make her look like such a sweet little old grandma. She has chipping on the edges of her eye glasses perched on her little round nose, but it does not distract from her overall display. She is holding a black cooking spoon and her shirt has has a nice vertical stripe texture. She is wearing what looks like a scarf and her apron is brown with a pale yellow/beige check design (take a close look at the apron design in the texture, not just the painting-it is very nice craftmanship). She is a cute little treasure and I tried to show in pictures all of her flaws. Some of the chipping could be painted and repaired by someone with a little know how.

Her sides are in good condition, but t is a small chip on the top of one side of the body. The back has a big detailed bow with a large chip at the top on the body w the lid and body meet and a smaller chip on the lid above the bow. I don't think it distracts from the presentation of the item, since it is in the back. I showed this in pictures. The lid fits on the body fairly well even with the chip (although it is not air tight and t is a small gap), and I would recommend the new owner paint or repair the chip to prevent further deteriorization to the piece.

T are no markings of date of maker. Looks like a one of a kind piece.

I will expertly package this item carefully in bubble wrap and styrofoam to ensure no damage occurs in transit to the buyer. The item is sold as is and I am not an expert on vintage items. I have tried my best to honestly describe and show any flaws to the cookie jar. The buyer pays shipping and I highly reccomend additional insurance , since I have no control what the post office does in transit. My ebay rating is very important to me, so if you have any problems, please feel free to contact me.

Payment is expected within 3 days of winning bid. U.S. Buyers and Pay Pal only please.

Thank you for looking and happy bidding .
