My mother-in-law collected Lladro, this was the statue she kept on her mantle. It was probably acquired by her when she lived in Switzerland in the 1960's and 70's. It is marked on the bottom Lladro handmade in Spain though the last few letters are are to make out.... please see the picture. It is almost 10" tall. I believe this statue is called "donkey ride" and depicts a child and a young mother or girl with a donkey beside them. I am not an expert, but I did not notice any flaws, chips, cracks, or other damage. I tried to take alot of pictures from all sides, and I am happy to provide more upon request. It has a blue undertone overall and has a glossy glaze finish. A lovely vintage collector's piece. Please give me 24 hours to respond to questions, I am not a full-time ebayer. I will pack and ship carefully. I am selling items for my mother-in-law as she has moved into assisted living and needs to downsize some of her things, as well as needing the extra income for her expenses.
