An old J.Long of London double slide rule in wood (boxwood?) and reasonable condition- move the slides still move and can be removed, all the scales are readable, but the rule has a slight bow in the horizontal plane (about 5mm) and there are assorted ink and other small marks on it. Top scales are standard log/log, bottom scales are marked as St, N & Lx. Overall size is about 18" long by 1.75" wide and 5/16" thick. There are two small brass fingernail pins in the right hand ends of the slides. No box or instructions.
