Up for auction we have a vintage Tabasco Sauce commemorative bottle that we got on a trip to Avery Island, Louisiana in 1993 A limited number of these bottles were made in âe~93 to commemorate the 125 th anniversary of the introduction of Tabasco Sauce by Edmund Mcllheney. The McIlhenny Company had these bottles made special to be exact reproductions of the original cologne bottles that Tabasco was first bottled in. We kept it displayed in the box on our âeoehot sauceâe shelf for a couple of years then packed it up when we moved. The box is in good shape for its age but definitely shows its age from the yellowing and some stains that must have happened during the move and from being stored in a kitchen cabinet for the last 10 or 12 years. The top flap isnâe(tm)t in the best shape from being stored and opened and closed but the bottle is still full, has never been opened and is in excellent condition . I contacted a very nice lady at the company and she told me that they havenâe(tm)t had one in years and that this bottle was a limited edition that was only available from them in âe(tm)93 for the anniversary. She also said she was reasonably sure that it was also only sold at their Avery Island gift shop.
