Vintage T.S.&T(Taylor, Smith & Taylor) Lu-Ray Pastel Surf Green curved spout Teapot & lid. The teapot is approx 5" H X 8 1/4" L . The teapot & lid have no visible chips, stains, or crazing, however there are some fine visible scratches on the lid. The Surf Green is nice in color and the accent points (rims & around spout etc..have a cream color). Item marked on bottom of Teapot with "T.S.&T. Lu-Ray Pastels U.S.A 2511"---Item sold as is. Please email any questions. Item will be carefully "over-padded" and marked fragile for shipment. Lu-Ray Pastels dinnerware was produced from 1938 to 1961 by the Taylor, Smith, and Taylor Company of West Virginia. It was initially available in four pastel colors: Persian Cream, Windsor Blue, Sharon Pink, and Surf Green. A fifth color (Chatham Gray) was added in 1947 but was discontinued in 1952 due to a lack of popularity.
