Don't be fooled by the reproduction head vases being sold in great quantity on the internet now--this is an authentic vintage head vase from the 1950's and t really is a tremendous difference in quality. T are even new, fake pieces from China being sold now that have numbers on the bottom that are the same as the numbers on these vintage ladies. If you are not sure about the age of a piece--please ask the seller! No collection is complete without Lucy! This model came in many different colors and sizes, but I especially like this blonde haired version with the green dress because she can double as a Christmas vase during the holidays. She looks surprisingly festive when filled with candy canes! Lucy stands just shy of 6" tall to the tip of her bow and is fully marked Napco C2633B, 1956. Excellent condition in this 51 year old vase, free from any chips or cracks. She does have a bit of inconsistency in her flesh tone coloring as you can see in the photos. It is not wear--she was made this way originally. It's not too bad--mentioned for complete accuracy. I can take close up photos and send--please just ask. She is wearing her orginal pearl necklace that has lost most of the pearly luster from the pearls and she is wearing glass pearl replacement earrings--they look terrific on her! The bottom of the vase has a darkened coloring that you can see in the photos that is glue residue from old protective felt that was glued on t when I got her. Overall this authentic vintage vase is in really wonderful condition for being 51 years old. Shipping costs $8.00 (International will be more). Insurance is $1.35 extra for up to $50.00, $2.35 for up to $100. coverage, $3.35 for up to $200. coverage and highly recommended. I don't require that you purchase the insurance, but since I cannot control the quality of handling by the post office once the package leaves my hands, buyer takes full responsiblity for uninsured items. I accept money orders, cashier's checks, personal checks and Paypal for payment. International shipments require Paypal--no exceptions. All methods of payment receive immediate shipping except personal checks, which require a 7 day hold to clear my bank. The item is shipped immediately upon clearance. I do request that payment be sent within 7 days of the auction's close. Thank you very much!
