A Collector's dream! This is an original 1970's Ludwig 5x14 Supra in PRISTINE CONDITION! I have taken the drum apart, cleaned and lubricated all moving parts, installed new heads, and here it is, presented to you in every single bit of its former glory, the undisputed, most recorded snare drum in the history of music! The is THE DRUM that every top drummer has at least one of in his / her arsenal! I have a few, myself, and this is the most beautiful, by far! This is the Lud - A - Loy shell, not brass, not steel, but Ludwig's very own blend of metals, based in aluminum, that is just magical! Most have the chrome flaking off by now, but this particular 40 year old drum is in amazing shape! None of the chrome is flaking off of this one! Just look at the pictures... its gorgeous!
