This Ludwig WFL drumset is from the late 1950s, I think, and would likely be called a Classic Jazz kit. If you know more about it, please fill me in and I will update this listing. It has a 20” bass drum, a 14” floor tom, and a 12” rack tom. All the rims are COB (chrome over brass) except for the bottom floor tom rim, which is chromed steel. The floor tom and bass have 8 lugs on a side and the other tom has six. All the lugs are nickel plated. The two toms each have a knob-type muffler. The rail consolette is in fine shape, as is the cymbal and L-arm holder and spurs. I’m enclosing two different L-arm cymbal holders with this auction- I’m not sure which is the original (both came with the set), so the new owner can decide, and then have a spare. There is also a bass drum anchor and a few other odd extras included- see photo. All the drums are three ply with reinforcing rings and all are tight and in good shape. The only small exception is on the bottom of the bass drum where the scarf joint is lifting up about 1/16”- see photo. The floor tom has club-date-type mounts, which work well and have the WFL logo on them. So, this set is complete and functionally fine, but it needs some cosmetic work: There is some rust on the bass drum claws, the floor tom leg mounts and on the rack tom mounting plate.
