For your consideration, I have up for auction a VERY RARE FIND! This is a VINTAGE SET of SIX LUSTRO WARE PLASTIC MIXING BOWLS with LIDS and TWO MEASURING CUPS! I believe this set is from the 50's or 60's! It comes with the ORIGINAL BOX, and is in MINT UNUSED CONDITION! No chips, cracks, discoloration, stains or utensil marks! WOW!The box reads: 'Lustro Ware Plastic Housewares, America's Foremost Line In Plastic Housewares, Columbus Plastic Products, Inc., Columbus, Ohio, USA.' The set is white, which matches everything, no matter what your color scheme is. T are 6 nesting bowls in various sizes. Each bowl has a see-through snap on air-tight lid. Also included are two handled measuring cups with holes in the handles for hanging. These bowls are not the typical hard rigid plastic you may expect. They are more of a rubbery plastic, sort of like Tupperware, which makes them virtually unbreakable. The bowls and lids nest inside one another for easy storage.THE SET CONSISTS OF:(1) 5 QT.
