I am selling a vintage antique machinist tool chest that contains a lot of old vintage machinist tools in good condition. The chest is handmade of oak, (although the rear portions of the drawers look like they might be poplar) with dovetailed corners on the exterior and 9 drawers. The lock on the fold-down door functions perfectly with the original key. In this chest there is an International Association of Machinists union dues book and union pin that dates 1915-1917 with union stamps, and shows that the owner was experienced in Die work. The tool set contains a variety of desirable vintage pieces by Starrett, Brown & Sharpe, Sawyer, and more quality USA made tools. This set was clearly owned by a man who used these tools and was careful with them. This set is a wonderful piece of IA of M history. Even some of the original owner's work notes are included.
