Vintage Madame Alexander Original Tagged Cissy Dress Circa 1956 Navy Blue Taffeta Dropped Waist Cocktail Length Dress with Black Braid Trim Detailing at the Neck and Waist, and Tulle Capped Sleeves. Rear Snap Closures. Fabric has beautiful rich patina. Cissy label is sewn in the rear of the dress near the neckline. Noticed a seam split on the side seam under the left arm (see close-up). The bodice is lined, so split is not easily noticeable unless you lift Cissy's little arm in search of it. In other words, the dark blue lining camouflages the split. Otherwise, in very good to excellent condition. Cissy, who is modeling is not included. Her black petticoat is not included either. Please feel free to reach out with any questions, as I am primarily a Barbie collector, and only own a couple of Cissies, and am by no means an expert. This listing again is for the dress only. I don't have the other accessories that originally accompanied the dress. Provenance : Purchased from the prior owner. No other background known. Pretty and Ready for Display. No odors observed.
