This is a wonderful 9 1/2" plate, made in Germany of fine china. The underside is marked Germany and Printemps as pictured. Printemps is a well-known Rosenthal style/pattern that features pastoral scenes and figures, typically in bright green. This plate has a smooth rim and the china is painted a pastel yellow green and ivory. The centerpiece is SO charming ~ with a little girl in a bonnet, looking with wonder at a pair of lambs. This remarkable treasure has no lines, cracks, nicks, flakes or significant wear. It is a beauty on display and has a hole on the foot mold for use in hanging it.
