Vintage Madison Clock Radio, Mfg'd by Datom Model 940 MORE PICTURES ABOVE and BELOW... Selling a collectible Vintage Madison Clock Radio, Mfg'd by Datom, that needs work. The radio turns on fine and you can hear sound coming from the speaker like the volume is turned all of the way down. When you turn up the volume knob, absolutely nothing happens. Cosmetically, the radio is in tip-top shape. Original bakelite sheen, glass clock lens, brass trim around clock. Check out the number '8' on the clock. I believe that all knobs are original with the exception of the volume knob. Chassis is very clean, the back is in great shape and the tube layout label is complete and in great shape.
