Up for auction is a sleek and slender mahogany pedestal plant stand, ca. 1930-40's. This piece is characterized by its somewhat unusual oval profile, generous sized table/shelf top, and footed platform base. Such a delightful corner accent piece to display a large and lush green plant. (my small fern doesn't do it justice.) I observed and included pictures of two areas of minor distress on the pedestal post and the oval top. Other than that, the appearance and condition is so very nice! The dimensions are: 36" height; the circumference of the oval-shaped pedestal is 16 1/2" (6 1/2" wide x 3 1/2" depth); top is 15 1/2" x 11 7/8"; footed base is 18" x 15"; weight is 16 1/2 pounds. The base and top will be removed for shipping purposes (1 small bolt and 4 screws.) Fedex ground s/h/i from San Francisco will range from $23.00 to a maximum of $39.00 depending upon your residential zipcode. Personal check or money order must be received within 7 DAYS of the close of auction and shipping is within 1 -2 days of receipt of payment. ** It is important to reply to my direct email invoice within 24 hours of the close of auction to exchange information. I just removed the 18"x15" footed base to show the oval width and length of the just the pedestal post. The base is "slipped onto" the protruding bolt/screw and secured with a square nut. The oval top is secured on the top with four wood screws.
