SILVER FLATWARE STORAGE BOX MAHOGANY CHEST WITH DRAWER Gorgeous wooden box for silverware storage. Measures 17" x 11 1/2" and stands 7" high. This vintage box is absolutely one of the nicest we have come across. Made beautifully, it is accented with brass drawer pulls and side handles. T is also a brass plate on top for monogramming if desired. This is a solid, heavy piece of entertaining and storage furniture. The box is stunning. The wood is a beautiful mahagony has a warm red/brown finish. T are some tiny scratches which are hardly noticeable, but mentioned for accuracy. The integrity and beauty of this fine chest are not affected in any way. It is solid and very well made. T is a chocolate brown anti-tarnish lining. It will easily hold a full service for twelve plus room for extras. The inside an anti-tarnish lining is very clean and has no rips, tears or repairs. The top of the inside of the box is fitted with an extra piece which stays closed with a clasp in order to keep knives in place. Great feature.....no felt loops that will loosen or tear.
