This is a 1948 Manley Premier Model 49 theatre popcorn machine in pretty good condition for it's age. We last used it in our business in Breckenridge, Colorado around 1978 and it worked great back then and it has been in storage since. The wiring is old so we decided to avoid any problems by not plugging it in for a test. The back plaque includes the following information: Phase 1, Cycles 60, Volts 110, Watts 1600, Amps 14, Serial No. P-8089, Medel 49-P-1.The overall conditiuon is very good except for some scrapes on one place on the front and the sides, some chipped enamel on the front top edge of the bottom panel, a little rust on the bottom of one drawer and the decal is peeling plus some other misc. scratches. We are missing the panel on the very top but we do have the original popcorn scoops (2) and a large supply of vintage white popcorn bags that came with the machine when we got it in 1970 from Denver. The red plastic and glass windows are undamaged and the wheels work great making it very easy to move the machine anyw you want it to go. You can also check out for pictures of this model and some others. The measurements are 66"H x 32/5" W x 21"D. Buyer will need to pick this machine up or arrange for the shipping. We expect payment within 5 days of the end of the auction by PayPal, money order or cashiers check.
