Vintage World Aviation Map "FAMOUS FLIGHTS AND AIR ROUTES OF THE WORLD" By H. J. Heinz Company A recent great find at an estate sale. I have never seen one of these before and have not found anything on it or another one that is up for sale on the internet. It is in fair condition with some ragged edges and a puncture tear in the upper left hand corner. For its age it's still in nice shape and still an eye catcher. The border has historic planes, pilots, and flights all the way around it. T are also famous flights captioned on the area of the map that they took place. The map was manufactured by H. J. Heinz Company. It is not dated but I am figuring 40's or early 50's because the latest flight that is on the map took place in 1933. I have found other early memorabilia by the Heinz company but nothing like this. I thought they only made ketchup...... It measures 31" tall x 42" wide.....a real good size one.... A great addition to all kinds of memorabilia collections....early planes, famous flights, early manufacturer advertising........
