MARBLE ARMS CAMP AXE #10 This auction is for a MARBLE ARMS CAMP AXE #10 . You collectors know what you're looking at so I won't waste time with an indepth description. This axe is 13 1/4 inches long. I believe these came with a longer handle and were often time cut off to make them shorter for ease of use. I believe that's what happened with this one. The handle appears to be original however. T are cracks in the handle but it is solid. I suppose the collectors would have the ability to acquire the correct original length handle. As far as the head is concerned, the pictures tell the story. T is some minor pitting, scratches and marks from sharpening. As you know, the good metal/knife refurbishers can get this one to look like new and this one would be a good candidate as t is not any deep pitting or marks. T is a 1/2 inch hairline crack on the head which I supplied a close-up picture of. The crack goes through to the other side. It does not appear to affect the integrity of the head as the head appears solid, but nonetheless, the hairline crack is t This axe had the nail puller which is in good shape and has not been damage or repaired. Often time with these axes, they ended up breaking the nail puller and had to repair it. As can be seen in the pictures, the stamp is solid and you can even clearly see the "#" symbol. That' s about it. Look at the pictures and decide what she's worth. I'm starting her off at $.99. I do charge $2.25 for handling charges. On international shipments, if you chose to have the item shipped Economy Surface Parcel Post, plan on it taking up to 12 WEEKS to arrive even though the post office says it should arrive in 8 weeks or less.
