This is a vintage Santa Claus, marked Germany on the bottom of the sled. He has a clay face, with painted features, and a rabbit fur beard. He is wearing a long red felt coat, trimmed in white felt, and felt hat and is carrying a scruffy, but real feather tree in his right arm. T is a basket on his back and it is in great condition, no breaks. He is sitting on a wooden slatted sled, with cardboard runners. This item measures 4 3/4 inches front to back, 4 inches high to the top of Santa's hat, and 3 inches at the widest point, boot to boot on either side of the sled. He has painted clay boots, and wire legs up under his long coat. Also sporting a belt around his waist which is completely in tact. Some fading to the painted clay boots.
