An extremely hard to find, extraordinary, new - vintage Marks Ironwood boning knife. This 5 "boning, (10 " LOA), knife is one of the old vintage Marks Ironwood Pro knife series. It is in unused mint condition. Nicely balanced, razor sharp, and good for many kitchen purposes beyond boning and trimming, this vintage knife is a rarity in any condition. and much more so in mint condition. With reasonable care it will last a lifetime. This knife is fully forged, with a finger guard as part of the fine, shaped Ironwood handle, which is secured by large nickel silver rivets. Ironwood is characterized by dark brown to black contrasting grain in the already rich brown wood. It is a dense , stable wood, and contains natural oils that preserve and protect it from moisture damage, both of which make for some of the finest natural knife handles. This is one of the most attractive and at the same time highly efficient kitchen knives you will find.
