Up for sale today, we have a very rare & collectable Zippo lighter. This brass Marlboro lighter is in excellent condition and features a Cowboy riding a horse, ready with lasso. No doubt ready to capture that stray calf from the herd or showing off his skills in the rodeo. This embossed picture also has the words Marlboro across the middle. The bottom date code // // indicates it was made in the first half of 1986. This version pre-dates the later version for the 2nd half of 1986 that switched to the Roman Numeral date coding system. This refillable lighter is a genuine Zippo wind-proof lighter which carries a full lifetime warranty. Both the flint and the wick are replaceable and if at anytime the lighter fails to work properly, you can mail it directly to Zippo for repair, free of charge, regardless of age or condition. The overall condition of the outside of the lighter is excellent, with only a few small dings on the bottom. The embossed picture of the cowboy could use a little detail cleaning in between the Marlboro letters and around the edge, but I will leave that up to the collector to do that properly.
