This is a vintage amethyst and diamond ring, circa 1950s-60s, which looks like it was made recently--stylewise. However, the quality is more like yesteryear.
is a marquise cut center amethyst, medium purple color, about 6 mm wide by 12 mm long. Bezel set in yellow gold. Surrounded by 24 small white diamonds set in white gold. Ring is stamped 14K and rests low on the finger so as not to snag and pull or otherwise knock about. Ring weighs 4 grams and fits ring size 6 1/2. Very pretty and modern looking, made of quality goods.
