Technical Description: Style 51 baritone Uke likely built in early 1960's; mahogany body, 10 1/16" lower bout, 30 7/8" total length, 20 1/8" scale, 20 T-frets, Martin decal, no SN, factory trade mark stamping inside, all original, no repairs, no cracks. Rosewood bridge, tortise-plastic binding on body, i-b-i rosette on sound hole, mechanical friction tuners, white plastic buttons, rich full sound. Stamping on inside reads: "CF Martin & Co., Nazareth, PA."According to my research this is most likely a style 51. These were manufactured starting in 1960, and none had serial numbers. This one is most likely from the early 1960's, based on discussions with other collectors and articles on dating. Cosmetic Description: Excellent condition with a few minor surficial dings. Wood is fine grained, rich and lustrous. Patina on finish is outstanding. Finish is like silk. Quality is typical Martin. T is a slight surface impression on the back w the instrument was placed in its case on top of a packet of strings that had a plastic cover (see last photo). Hardly worth mentioning but I want to describe it fully. This is one beautiful instrument that plays wonderfully. Just fitted with new Martin strings.Shipping to US and International.
