Hello. is an old Louis Marx train lot. I purchased this at a recent estate auction and must confess I know very little about trains but will tell you what I can and took several pictures. I tried setting it up to show you but I could not get it to work but not sure I was doing it right either. Anyway - included in the lot is metal track - 11 curve tracks,4 9 inch straight tracks,an intersection track, and a terminal track - t is a Louis Marx Model No. 709 transformer - t is a Marlines Marx Toys locomotive or engine with light on front - t is a Marx Marlines New York Central coal car - t is a Marx Union Pacific no 59 I think livestock car with working doors - t is a Marx New York Central Side Dumping Car No. 567 that dumps - t is a Marx New York Central Lines 556 caboose - t are 2 little pine trees and a Marx Honeymoon Express tin wind-up but it does not have the train and wind-up does not work - is complete but I think overwound. All the train cars have links and hook together fine,the lithos look good,t is a small dent on top of livestock car,the engine is missing a small metal piece on one side on the top - still has the other side (see pic) and t is minor rust on these but I made no attempt to clean. The transformer has scratches and surface rust - when I plugged it in it did make a humming sound but can not say if works or not. read more
