Calling All Space Rangers! Earth is Under Attack by Moon Men! Bomb the Moon! Explode the Flying Saucer and Rescue the Earth Men! Complete Space Ranger play set includes: Molded plastic Moon Base and Solar System play mat, Earth Base with rocket stand and remote control, battery-powered rocket, battery holder (no corrosion), 7 Earth Men, 6 Moon Men, Space Car, Rocket Launcher, 3 rockets, 2 bombs, 1 Missile, 1 Parachute, 1 Exploding Flying Saucer, misc. screws and instructions, more. Very rare to find all the small parts for this toy, and the main parts in such good condition. No damage, scratches or cracks evident on any parts. Includes original box with some stain specks and 1 short tear in side of box. Overall condition appears very good for a toy that was well used. All paint in excellent condition. All major plastic parts are nearly perfect. A juvenile repair to control cable was made with duct tape (it is hidden inside base when assembled) see last photo. Instructions are complete but has 1" hole and stain, maybe from some oil? Tiny loading hook is damaged, the only broken accessory. No other damage seen. UPDATE May 6th: Motor/speed control has now been tested with 3 D-cell batteries in the chrome holder and the Space Ship propulsion unit ran.Here is a nifty photo of the toy from a 1963 catalog: /alpha/forums/topic/4933-19
