VINTAGE MARZI & REMY GERMAN STONEWARE TOBACCO JAR #608 Please see photos below. You are bidding on a vintage Marzi & Remy stoneware tobacco jar. This piece is featured in an olive green color with relief images of people. The text on the jar reads 'dit is die schone hiestoria can svsanna int korten eit oeschnitten 1584 e p e k'. The bottom of the piece is marked with the MR symbol, 608, 1/2L. The jar measures about 4 ¼" without lid and about 5 ¾" with lid and about 4 ¼" wide. This item is free from any chips but does show a tiny bit of crazing. Check out my other auctions for more Marzi & Remy pieces. Domestic buyer to add $10.00 for shipping/handling/insurance.
