John Ek was a Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts, Connecticut State Militia Member, A Hobby and Model Train shop owner in Guilford CT, a Bicycle maker, a Knifemaker (John Ek Commando Knives, Hamden CT - Ek Commando Knives, Miami), a Boat Builder (Zip Sloops), a Marina Owner and Auctioneer (Clinton Harbor Marina, CT and Pelican Harbor Marina in Miami, FL), a Gun Shop Owner (Seminole Gun Shop), a Private Investigator (Metropolitan Crime Investigators) , Security and Protection Agency (Sunny Isles Beach Patrol), an Electronic Bugging and Surveillance Expert (Ek Electronics), A Numismatist, a Collector of Pirate and Old West collectibles, A Crime Stopper, a founding member of the Anti - Communist Legion, a 3 time past president on the Interama Lions Club, a Civic and Community Activist, a Grand Jury Investigator for Dade County FL, the Special Investigator for the City of North Miami Beach, FL, an Agent for the Justice Department (Bay of Pigs Invasion of Cuba), A Survivalist, a Realist, and my Father.
My Mother Elsa Ek (ex U.S. Navy Intelligence) helped him Run all of those ventures, thru all of the above.

Elsa passed away on 5-12-08 , and this is the last of our estate sale.
All Of the Items of John Ek's Estate offered by Masterlisters, WILL Represent this History of John Ek âe" Patriot Knifemaker, Investigator, Spy, Constitutionalist.......... and collector of American Oddities. Upon request, we will provide the winners of these auctions with a signed letter of authenticity from Gary W Ek, the only living heir to John Ek.

We strongly prefer PAYPAL, but will also accept POSTAL MONEY ORDER or CASHIERS CHECK or BANK CHECK only, thank you. All money orders and checks must FULLY clear before we ship.

Shipping information

Our shipping prices are FIRM, please do not email us asking to change them, or for us to ship some other way to save you money. We refuse to ship any other way than trackable US Priority Mail, so we can avoid the fraudulent Paypal claims made by some eBayers. We prefer to ship FEDEX or International Airmail for out of the country.
