A VERY RARE FIND, INDEED! Check it out for yourself: Only TWO of these has EVER been sold on eBay!! (ok, confession time: I sold one of them. The sad news is that this is the LAST one I have, so here's your LAST chance....) This is a BRAND NEW never put together until now, and only because I was planning on keeping it, but then decided it should go to a collector because it's just too precious to be a toy for my young son. And I don't have the space to store it until he gets older. Up for auction is a vintage rotating plastic Matchbox Store Display Case. It holds 75 Matchbox models and stands 25" tall x 11" wide. The case is in very good condition with minimal signs of wear. The panels are great condition; no cracks or breaks. There is some minor denting inside a few of the compartments, looks to me like defects due to the fragile plastic used (please see photos). It WILL BE SHIPPED IN THE ORIGINAL BOX pictured. On the box you can see the manufacturer and the retailer, Sopps Hobby Shop in Chadds Ford, PA. Unfortunately this shop is no longer in business. This display is brand-new, never been used. The minor damage seems to be from the occasional handling over the years. The colors are still very bright and vibrant. Sold as is.
