This Third Issue of the "Mattachine Review" from May/June 1955 features pioneering socio-political, editorials, essays and other related articles years before the advent of the Gay Rights Movement -- and offers an interesting glimpse into the pre-Stonewall period of LGBT history. This vintage, digest-size magazine is in excellent to very good condition; a real collector's item with no missing pages, no tears, no writing and virtually no spine/edge wear, but negligible points lost for cover wear limited only to a slightly bent upper right front cover corner that affects several pages beneath (see photo below) and a smudge-like mark in the upper left back cover corner.
