This is a very cool old toy that is in very good condition. It is a Mattel "Instant Replay" player dated 1971. It is a transistor radio sized disk player that plays mini disk recordings of sports figures of the 1960s - baseball football basketball etc. This set includes 20 extra mini records that each have a picture of the athlete it contains a recording of. They include OJ Simpson, Willie Mays, Alex Karras, Lem Barney, Lew Alcindor, Sonny Jorgensen, Joe Namath, John Mackey, Donny Anderson, Alan Page, Dick Butkus, etc. etc. I'm not sure that this player works, so please bid as if it doesn't... I don't have a D cell battery and it looks like there may be a missing a top piece of the back of the player (Not visible inside the case that it goes in - see picture). and everything else is in very good condition - the box has the original 4.98 price tag on it. very cool item for an old vintage toy collector or sports/baseball card collector.
