THIS IS A PRETTY PLATE FROM THE MAYER CHINA COMPANY IT IS VERY HEAVY CERAMIC STONEWARE.
THIS STYLE "NASSAU" WAS USED FOR THE HORN & HARDART AUTOMATS IN NEW YORK AND PHILADELPHIA. THIS PATTERN COULD HAVE BEEN MADE PRIOR TO 1928.
IT MEASURE 9in. across
IT IS IN GREAT CONDITION...T IS ONE MARK ON THE FRONT, (see pic. ) IT LOOKS AS THOUGH IT DONE DURING MANUFACTURING.
THE BACK IS MARKED "NASSAU 68034 MAYER CHINA, MADE FOR THE HORN & HARDART CO. WRIGHT TYNDALE &VAN RODEN" AND A "2"
THE BACK ALSO HAS 3 MANUFACTURING MARKS
