is a GORGEOUS vintage McCABE sterling and 10K three piece ranger set that will accommodate a 1 inch belt. McCabe was the main competitor of Edward Bohlin in the heyday of western films. John made buckle sets, spurs and saddle rigs for the likes of John Wayne, Tom Mix, Roy Rogers, and Gene Autry. Today, the McCabe Company is owned and operated by Sunset Trails. This old piece is marked "MSC STERLING 10K" and features wonderful scrolls, flowers, and leaves in a heavy 10K gold overlay and twisted gold rope trim on all of the pieces. The buckle itself measures about 2 inches by 2 inches. The detail is incredible...from the engraving on top of the gold to the rubies that are set in each of the flowers. (One ruby is missing in the tip, but should be very inexpensive and easy to repair. T is also a gold shield on the buckle that is ready to be engraved with your initials by any competent jeweler or engraver. This set comes on a beautiful hand-tooled brown leather belt that measures 29 1/2 inches from the place w the buckle attaches to the belt to the closest hole and 32 1/2 inches to the furthest hole. The belt tapers from 1 1/2 inches down to 1 inch, and although it is an old piece, it is in mint condition. Don't let this fine old classic get away!! It doesn't get better than this. THIS WILL MAKE A WONDERFUL GIFT OR ADDITION TO YOUR COLLECTION!!! read more
