McCoy Sunrise 10.75" green mixing bowl from the early 1920's which features a wide shoulder and an intricate pattern very popular with today's collectors. This bowl is in excellent overall condition. It has a 1 1/8" X 1/4" defect near the foot at the base of one of the "suns" which is completely glazed over from the factory. T is an inside two inch stable hairline extended from the rim. The same hairline is 3/4" on the outside rim. It appears to have been a glazed over factory defect that has extended on the inside of the bowl over the years. The bottom is unmarked, but is guaranteed to be as stated. The bottom rim shows little wear. This bowl does have glaze pops and sandbumps from the factory typical of this vintage pottery as well as some crazing in the glaze. An overall fine example of early McCoy pottery!
