This auction is for a popular piece of McCoy, the sand dollar floor vase in matte aqua. McCoy made this vase in the 30s and 40s. It is 14". This vase is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks, no crazing or hairlines. There are a few manufacturing flaws typical of McCoy, mostly pinholes and a few rough spots, which I've seen in every example of this vase that I've had a chance to view. This vase is unmarked, but McCoy never did mark this vase as it was made in an era when they used no mark on a lot of pieces. I think this vase was used at one time because there appears to be staining on the inside from water. Regardless, it's a great vase and one that every McCoy collector has to have. This piece is heavy, so I will be shipping it economy, with insurance. I will pack it well! Thanks for looking.
