Up for auctions is a vintage McCoy stoneware pitcher with ducks marching among what appear to be reeds in relief all of the way around the piece. I have not seen very may of these, but an example is listed on page 50 of Hanson and Nissen's book on McCoy pottery. Apparently, they were made in the 1930s. The pitcher is 7 1/4" tall and about 5" across at the top and bottom. This piece is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or other damage. All in all, a very nice piece of McCoy stoneware for any collection. I've had a question as to the color of this pitcher and it appears below, but the color is burgandy.
