Jadite Bottoms Up Nude Flapper Shot Glasses

Offered today for your consideration is a pair of authentic Bottoms Up shot glasses produced in the early 1930s following the demise of prohibition. This set of barware was fun and a bit risquÃ©. Once you filled the tumbler, you had to finish your drink before putting it down. What a great concept!

If you have read this far, you are probably aware that the Bottoms Up series has been copied or reproduced in the last few years. New pieces are heavy, have blurred & clumsy detail and also have no patent number.

Both of these pretty jadite green colored tumblers have their proper patent numbers [PAT 77725] at the bottom of flapperâe(tm)s feet and we guarantee them to be old and original McKee glass. McKeeâe(tm)s Skokie Green color is vivid and shiny on both tumblers and actually appears a bit opalescent around the rim of the shot glassesâe"very beautiful.

Both shot glasses stand 3-3/8âe tall and both are in perfect condition with no chips or cracks. One tumbler has a slight imperfection or line in the glass running between the flapperâe(tm)s legs. It has the appearance of dirt and a toothbrush & soapy water could possibly take care of it but we will leave that to the new owner.
