This medical/dental instrument cabinet is from the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, according to the owner of the antique store in Rochester where we bought it in the mid-1990s. She thought it was from the 1920s. Height: 63” Cabinet width: 24” Width at bulge of lower legs: 28” Cabinet depth: 16” Depth at bulge of lower legs: 20” Shelves: 23.75 x 15.25” The 4 shelves are not original. They are now tempered glass so that the heat from the bulbs won’t shatterthem. The cabinet was not originally wired for lights. All 4 sockets work but we only had 2 bulbs so I photographed each pair of sockets with the bulbs. The switch is on the underside of the cabinet, near the brown electrical cord wrapped around the back-right leg. The bulbs are included. Though hard to see in the photographs, the glass in the door & on the sides is beveled along the edges. The door hardware is not original. There is a crack in the glass on the right side. Some of the paint, especially along the lower legs, has been scraped away. This was common hardware store enamel so it shouldn’t be hard to touch up those spots. This cabinet is HEAVY . We can’t deliver or ship. You will need to pick it up & load it, or arrange for shipping. It’s in our garage, about 1.5 hours south of Tucson, AZ, or about 15 minutes from Sierra Vista, AZ.
