Up for your consideration is a lot of (4) four vintage bisque Occupied Japan figurines dressed for their era. In this lot of (4) there are three men and one woman. One man is holding flowers ***NOTE*** there is a chip to the base, in the back of this figurine (picture #3 ) and he is the last figurine on the right in (picture # 1), the 2nd figurine is holding an instrument in Excellent mint condition, the third man also in mint condition is playing a flute. The woman is also in mint condition and she is holding a mandolin. Purchased from a private estate sale where we were told by owner's son that they are very old, but not sure of the exact age or origin. They were displayed in class enclosed show case for many years. They measure approximately 5-3/8" high. They appear to have no cracks, chips or missing paint anywhere other than the one figurine noted above and the colors are still very bright and vivid. Made of a glazed porcelain bisque. Stored in our smoke free home.
***NOTE*** Chip to the back of base on the male figurine holding the flowers in picture # 3 ~ he is the one with the black hat and blue coat and is the very last figurine on the right in picture # 1.This defect cannot be seen from the front. That is the only imperfection that we have noted on all four of these figurines.
