This is a beautiful original menu from the Maiden Voyage of the SS Lurline, Matson Lines, at sea on April 27, 1948. The cover depicts a colorful scene of Hawaiian royalty greeting a neighboring chief. Inside the cover is a description of the scene and of the concept of "Aloha." The menu lists all the fine dishes of the era, and the colors are still bright and crisp. The artist's name, E. Savage, is printed in one corner. T are two tiny pinholes in the upper corners, and it is folded in half, like a menu. Would be ideal for framing! Length 21 inches, width 13.75 inches.
