This compact rarely comes up for sale. A novelty case with carousel ponies engraved on the sides in blue, white and red. The lid comes to a peak like a circus tent. The ponies are in excellent condition though one of the enamel red stripes on the lid is missing and the others have chips in them. The interior is clean, but is missing the mirror. It does comes with the powder screen though. This unusual compact has been traced back to the 1940's which was sold by Sears. The lid has red stripes but it also came in different versions of all white and multi-colour. The hinge and clasp work properly. Measures 2.5 inches in diameter. Super rare novelty piece! A very unique compact sure to add interest to any compact display. Thanks.
